Got here early on a Sunday afternoon for brunch and ordered an array of delicious, hot, well seasoned foods and spirits that won’t disappoint! The sweet potato pancakes were so decadent and rich and the fried chicken wings were extremely crispy, hot and fresh! Highly recommend the chargrilled oysters as they were so buttery and flavorful!

From the time we stepped up to the front door, we were treated like ViPs. We received complimentary cups of gumbo (absolutely delicious). Our group had ribs, red beans n chicken, buffalo chicken wings, BBQ shrimp, and shrimp creole. Sides were hushpuppies (sweet), mac n cheese, carrots souffle (tastes like sweet potato casserole), cornbread dressing, fries, and potato salad. We were then given complimentary chargrilled oysters - melts in the mouth. Then, for dessert, there was a praline pound cake that smelled like French toast. The food tastes like good ole country cookin' with some creole specialties. The food came quickly, and our waitress was very attentive. There's some very cool artwork that is 3D decorating the restaurant. Such a little gem! Go visit!!
Our waitress D made the best drinks, she was kind, very knowledgeable about the menu and gave good recommendations on what to eat. Everything was so good! I was full after eating my meal but she recommended trying the cake. I'm so glad that I did! I added extra caramel to mine and took it to go. I finished before we got to our destination! This was our first visit to Neyows's, but it definitely won't be our last!
Second time in NOLA and we finally made it yall! I’ll just start with everything we had was bomb! The portions were great and we were so satisfied. Whitney was a great server! She gave excellent service and had great recommendations. The oysters were perfection and I could just melt over the red beans. We had one drink y’all. I can’t remember the name but it had fruit punch in it. All you need is one! Also loved all of the pictures on the wall. Gave the place a homey feel.
My friend and I went to late lunch here on a Wednesday. We were visiting from Virginia and were pleasantly surprised! This food was so great - classic cajun cookin. The fried chicken was perfect! Mustard greens are the special on Wednesdays and were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Margaritas were a touch sweet but good. Definitely recommend! I would certainly return.
Let me tell yall! Omg! This place is a HIT! Came into Louisiana for a little mini vacay and this was the first spot we came to. The crab claws were literally to die for! Sooo buttery and had so much flavor! A friend had the grilled oysters and were some of the BEST I’ve ever tasted! Our waiter was so nice and kept it real on suggestions for what to eat. They also have another place next door that’s the Steak House, and it’s much fancier, so if you’re looking for something for date night or a birthday dinner, the steak house is the place to go!
We randomly stopped in while on vacation. Best gumbo I ever had. Great service awesome atmosphere. The place was definitely popular among the locals. It was full for lunch and people where happy and enjoying the amazing food. Will definitely be back! Loved the decorations as well. So glad we stumbled upon this restaurant while exploring mid city. The staff was all delightful. Thank you for the great food and service!
